A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

This was a 6-week university-level student project, so please keep that in mind.

Synopsis

After crashing your ship on an unknown planet, you control a cleaning mercenary Robot, Code Name: Custodian. You earned this code name due to your back history as being a custodian robot.  You are hired by the Gorgus Government to destroy the race of aliens, known simply as the Sponge (ironically), that have infiltrated this planet’s civilization. Explore the environment in disrepair and get swept into the tale.  Defeat your enemies by using your cleaning prowess. Collect power-ups, to eliminate the infiltration, show the Government what you are made of, perhaps one last time.  The nuclear bomb facility is your target.  It has a control that will self-destruct the planet, find it,  make it there in one piece… but know that the Sponge will not go down without a fight. Good luck.

Collect the nuclear codes and eradicate the sponge to win!

Install instructions

The game is a self-contained Unity executable, so if your platform is offered as an option, save it wherever you like (or download it through the Itch.io app) and simply run it.

FOR MAC: The app is unsigned; the only reliable way to get it to run on modern Mac machines is to install and launch it through the itch.io app. https://itch.io/app. (You can also try following Apple's documentation on running unidentified apps, but success is not guaranteed (https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-dev...) (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491))
